Hostile Takeover is going to ION 2026 (Skirmish Paintball, PA)
ION: Invasion of Normandy is the biggest scenario game of the year: huge missions, massive fields, tanks, castles, and a giant vendor area. We are running this as a full campout trip, so plan accordingly.

When it is
• Friday, July 10, 2026: Free Castle Night (registered players)
• Saturday, July 11 and Sunday, July 12, 2026: Main ION scenario game

IMPORTANT: Register Axis (German)
Hostile Takeover’s position is close to the German front line, so you must register for the German / Axis powers to play with us.
Also: walk on registrations cannot choose their team, so preregister if you want to guarantee Axis.
Registration: how to sign up
- Go to the ION event page: https://www.skirmish.com/discounted-paintball-days/scenario-paintball-games/invasion-of-normandy/
- Register online. When booking online, select July 10 as your reservation date (that covers the entire ION weekend).
- If you are adding discounted paint during the earliest pricing window, you may need to call Skirmish to attach it to your reservation (they note this on the event page).
Registration cost (admission)
Skirmish lists these admission tiers:
• $84.99 per person (cheapest rate, limited time window)
• $99.99 per person (early February through Tuesday, July 7 at 7pm)
• $120 (tax included) walk on rate after prereg ends (and walk ons cannot pick their team)
Paint cost (2,000 per case)
ION paint pricing listed by Skirmish:
• Cheapest admission window: $65.00 per case rec paint, $75.47 per case upgraded paint
• Later prereg window: $75.47 per case rec paint, $84.91 per case upgraded paint
Camping plan (read this)
Camping is FREE primitive camping on site, but spots fill up fast. Get there early.
Hostile Takeover arrives Wednesday evening so we can grab a good area, set up, and be settled before the crowds.
Bring what you need to live outside for several days:
• Tent, sleeping bag, pad, tarp, lights, batteries/chargers
• Food, snacks, water, cooler, camp stove (if you use one)
• Extra clothes, rain gear, boots
• Trash bags, basic first aid, wipes, sunscreen, bug spray
There are vendors for basically everything at ION, but do not rely on that for your core camping essentials.
